Emmaus Road Ministries

Our Mission:

Driven by the principles of Nazarene Holiness theology, Emmaus Road Ministries is committed to building communities that embody the love and compassion of Christ. Through intentional gatherings around the table, we seek to create a sacred environment where individuals encounter the sanctifying presence of God, experience genuine fellowship, and are inspired to live out holiness in their daily lives.

Emmaus Road Ministries is actively working on creating a range of tools, resources, and coaching services that are designed to support churches, pastors, and planters in organizing gatherings that focus on Jesus and fostering a sense of community. We believe that a unique ministry model is required to nurtures a distinct type of disciple.

Emmaus Road Ministries resources can be used to create unique discipleship gatherings in many settings:

  • For church planters looking for an option that requires fewer resources and reduces barriers to planting or multiplying
  • For churches in need of revitalization or relaunch
  • For traditional churches as an outreach ministry in your community or as a small group ministry

WHY EMMAUS ROAD MINISTRIES?

Having pastored struggling churches, I was frustrated with the demands of managing a religious organization. My true calling is to preach, pray, and guide the church in following King Jesus. However, I ended up spending a great amount of time and energy on financial matters, facility maintenance, and managing limited resources. Despite our efforts, nurturing disciples remained challenging, and often took second place to urgent demands.

After my decision to step away from full-time pastoral ministry, I started to realize that God was calling me onto a new path. It became clear that I was being led towards the development of a distinct kind of ministry, focused on nurturing a unique kind of disciple.

And Emmaus Road Ministries is the result.
