What if faith was never meant to be carried alone?
In Episode 2 of The Seeing Their Faith Podcast, we return to the story that gives this project its name—Mark chapter 2. Four friends carry a paralyzed man to Jesus, tear open a roof, and lower him into the crowded room. And Scripture tells us something surprising:
“When Jesus saw their faith…”
Not his faith.
Their faith.
This episode reflects on how that single line reshaped my understanding of faith, salvation, and the role of the church. Drawing from a personal story and a wider biblical pattern, we explore what it means to belong to a community whose faith can bring healing, forgiveness, and restoration to others.
If faith can be seen—and if it can be carried—then the calling of the church may be far more communal and costly than we often imagine.
